Het #women2030-project wordt uitgevoerd in 52 landen in verschillende regio’s van de wereld. Het wordt geleid door een coalitie van vrouwenrechten en gendergelijkheid netwerkorganisaties die samenwerken om de duurzame ontwikkelingsdoelen (SDG’s) op een genderrechtvaardige en klimaatvriendelijke manier te realiseren. De coalitie maakt deel uit van een 5-jarig samenwerkingsverband met de afdeling European Commission’s International Cooperation arm (DEVCO) genaamd Women CSOs implementing SDGs Agenda 2030.” De coalitie bestaat uit Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) International, Women Environmental Programme, Global Forest Coalition en Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development.
