Tunisian-Bavarian green hydrogen network event

11 May 2023 @ 09:00 - 18:30 CEST

As part of a consultation for the GIZ project H2vertTunisia, we are supporting the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the BLP (Bund-Länder-Programm) project ”Establishing a Bavarian-Tunisian Technology and Innovation Hub for Green Hydrogen”, funded by the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Bavarian State Chancellery.

This project aims to create a network conference to bring Tunisian and Bavarian hydrogen experts together.

Tunisia recently announced its plan to scale up its local hydrogen sector, with a broader pledge to accelerate its transition towards renewable energy. Given its abundance of solar irradiation and wind, Tunisia has the potential to produce affordable renewable energy, providing a stable base to successfully support such a green hydrogen sector.

The aim is to establish a Bavarian-Tunisian technology and innovation platform for green hydrogen with a focus on increasing the participation and qualification of women by building a women’s network in this sector. To achieve this goal, we are implementing three main services: A workshop for female experts in the hydrogen sector in Tunis, a mentoring program and a network conference with Bavarian and Tunisian experts in Bavaria

We would like to invite Bavarian stakeholders of the green hydrogen sector to participate in our networking event on the 11th May, 2023, Augsburg. Please note that this event is not only open to women but to all stakeholders in Bavaria.
