Women2030 Internship

We are looking for an intern for our Women2030 Programme. The intern will support the project coordinator with the overall planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the programme. Women2030 is a five-year programme aimed at strengthening the capacity, advocacy and outreach of civil society organizations in 52 countries around the world. The programme is led by a coalition of five four women and gender network organisations collaborating to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a gender-equitable and climate-just way.

Who are you?
• You are a (international) student, registered at a Hogeschool or University, studying in the field of project management, international development, gender studies, sustainability and / or communication
• You are interested in sustainable development and gender equality
• You would like to learn about project management
• You already have some experience in organising activities
• You are looking for an internship in an international civil society organisation
• You are fluent in English (CEFR: C1-C2). Dutch, French and / or Spanish are a pro.

What do we offer?

  • We encourage international students to apply for an Erasmus+ grant. If this is not available, we offer a fee of €150 a month

Tasks
The Women2030 intern will support the project coordinator in the overall project management of the programme.

  • Help with the overall planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Women2030 programme, including editing shadow reports of the civil society on the SDGs
  • Strengthen online visibility and outreach of the successes of the Women2030 programme and WECF in general on the website and on social media
  • Help organising activities, such as our presence at the European Development Days in Brussels or public meetings in The Netherlands
  • General support to the activities of the international WECF international team in Utrecht

When?

This internship is for 24 hrs a week and lasts 6 months. Starting date is in principle January 6th 2020, but can be changed in consultation.
