Women Power 2030 – Kick-off Meeting with Subgrantee Partners

Collaborating for a Gender-Just and Sustainable Future

On September 11, 2025, Women Power 2030 officially kicked off our Subgrantee Partnership Meeting.

The sub-grantee partners under Women Power 2030 have been selected to strengthen the role of feminist civil society and grassroots groups in advancing gender-just and climate-resilient development. They were chosen from among women’s rights and feminist organizations, youth-led and grassroots groups, particularly those based in OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC)-listed countries. Selection was guided by their alignment with Gender Action Plan (GAP) III and WP2030 thematic priorities, with a strong focus on indigenous, rural, and youth leadership. Preference was given to organizations with proven experience in capacity strengthening, policy advocacy, and feminist organizing, ensuring that the partners bring both thematic relevance and practical expertise to the project’s implementation.

Our Women Power 2030 Subgrantees bring together voices from Morocco, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. Together, their efforts are representative of the growing movement to involve and empower more women and feminist networks to be active drivers of change in their communities. Our Subgrantee partners strive to reach a wider audience through advocacy work, training on gender-responsive policies, and engagement through online and in-person events focused on climate and gender-just dialogue.
