We know that shrinking civic space, growing authoritarianism, and anti-rights backlash are hitting hardest in the places where our movements are already underfunded. That’s why, through Women Power 2030, we’re offering small grants of up to 10,000 EUR for bold feminist and ecofeminist organisations working on gender equality and sustainable development.

If you’re already holding the line in your country, this is your chance to take your advocacy to the next level.

What we’re looking for:

We want to support work that:

• Maps and analyses national laws and policies on gender, environment, and development
• Builds feminist recommendations through consultation with grassroots and rights-based groups
• Pushes feminist demands into national, regional and global policy spaces – from the SDG Forums to climate negotiations
• Strengthens feminist networks and builds collective power.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, you need to:

• Be part of the WECF network
• Be based in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, or Ukraine
• Be a feminist, women-led, or environmental civil society organisation
• Have internal gender equality policies and advocacy experience
• Have capacity to conduct policy mapping and analysis and advocacy.
• Commit to participating in at least one learning and sharing session with other network members of the Women Power 2030 project.
• Commit to the visibility and reporting requirements of the EU (don’t worry, we’ll support you)

What’s on the table?

• Up to 10,000 EUR per selected project
• We will support 1 project per country
• Project period: around 12 months (starting June 2025, ending latest by December 2026)
• Mandatory reporting: short narrative and financial reports twice during the year
• Publication of a policy mapping report and feminist policy recommendations
• Participation in at least one relevant policy meeting (national, regional or global)
