Dear WECF Community, 

As ecofeminists, we join other organizations in the move away from the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Why? 

X has become a platform supporting hate, discrimination and disinformation without moderation, which stands directly against our values. We strongly oppose the current use of X as a political tool to advance the agenda of Trump, Elon Musk and the far right.

While we regret that we will not be able to amplify and support our global partners on X anymore… we are still active, loud and present on other platforms!
