Our feminist demands for UNEA-3

Women’s Major Group partners, including us, submitted their proposals for Ministerial Outcome of the 3rd United Nations Environment Assembly calling for a strengthening of the language on the following points;

  • protecting children from pollution, as they suffer life-long irreversible effects
  • avoiding recycling of toxic waste back into children’s toys and other consumer products
  • understanding women’s and men’s different gender roles and health impacts from hazardous chemical pollution.
