WECF Communications Team: Retreat Recap!

For the first time ever, we held our WECF communications team retreat on February 25th-27th 2025. Travelling all the way from Georgia, Germany, The Netherlands (and joining in online from France), the communications officers and staff got together in Zülpich, Germany to align our global WECF communications strategy and brainstorm a joint narrative. We gathered in an intersectional, feminist education centre called lila_bunt– one of the first feminist spaces in all of Germany!

As such an international team working in diverse country contexts, it was a strategic moment to come together and discuss how the communications team can support the larger WECF intention to work from global to local: local to global.
