The solutions to a sustainable, climate resilient and inclusive world already exist on the ground. To make them visible, we organise  – together with the Women and Gender Constituency – an award celebration during the annual global climate negotiations. Through this annual award event, we identify the most outstanding grassroots climate actions that center women’s leadership and gender-equality. 

The three winning projects (out of 259) will each receive a prize of €5000 euros, travel costs covered for one representative to attend the Awards Ceremony and 1-year of mentoring support.

This high-level event will showcase and reward gender just climate actions that are implemented on all continents and can be scaled up to attain a significant impact. With these Awards, we aim to inspire world leaders and key decision makers to implement more effective and transformative climate policies.
