As part of the scoping-study on gender and chemicals, WECF and Reaction Climatica (Bolivia) are organizing the round table meeting on ‘Gender, chemicals and waste’ in La Paz, Bolivia, with support of the Women’s platform Coordinadora de la Mujer.
Women’s and environmental organisations from civil society, representatives of government, United Nations, international cooperation partners, science and private sector will share best practices on how to use sex-disaggregated data and ensure gender-responsive policies and actions to address toxic chemicals.
Recommendations will be prepared and presented to the United Nations BRS and Minimata Conventions.
