Crucial Georgian parliamentary elections are coming up! That is why the Foundation Max van der Stoel, together with the Roze Netwerk in the PvdA and the WECF, is organizing a political café on Friday October 25!
Together with MEP Kim van Sparrentak, researcher Amy Eaglestone and WECF activist Shorena Vashadze we will discuss the Georgian political situation. We will talk about the recently adopted anti-LGBTI law and the consequences for Georgian EU membership. With the parliamentary elections a day later, it promises to be make or break for the country. The evening will be facilitated by FMS trainer and Roze Netwerk member Rowdy Boeyink.
Have you always wondered how Georgian politics works? And how NGOs and LGBTI activists continue their work there in the current climate? Then register quickly via this link, come along and ask your questions to the guests! 🙌
The evening will take place in a special cafe setting in the PvdA Den Haag office at Stationsweg 10b. During the walk-in from 19:30 there will be coffee and tea. After the discussion you can continue talking to the guest speakers and the attendees while enjoying a drink and a snack ☕️
