This event will showcase efforts from multiple stakeholders to advance on the Gender Action Plan (GAP) and national climate roadmaps.
Objectives
- Inform decision-making bodies, policymakers, and practitioners on the cross-cutting benefits of locally owned and gender-responsive climate mitigation and adaptation actions
- Underline the need to support the collection of evidence base and disaggregated data to demonstrate the impact of gender-responsive solutions
- Build bridges and open new spaces for exchange experiences and views among local practitioners, researchers, and policymakers
- Contribute to the GAP mandate and review (focusing on Activities A4, B3 and D4) through the dissemination of local good practices that can be replicated in regional and national contexts.
