Raising our voices together with women's rights and gender equality groups worldwide. Demanding real solutions based on the needs of the people.

Core principles

Together we are demanding solutions to overcome structural economic, social and environmental crises that disproportionately impact women and girls. We fight intersecting inequalities and multiple forms of discrimination based on gender, age, class, caste, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics, disabilities, and other status. We ensure government accountability to commitments of gender equity and empowerment so that we can create diverse, vibrant, equal and just societies for all people.

Moving boundaries

There are various of ways to push for change. Together with our advocacy networks we write position papers, host high level side events at the UN, hold daily strategy meetings during UN conferences, draft & deliver interventions during debates, write shadow reports, host roundtable debates, hold bilateral meetings with decision-makers, write statements and mobilise our followers in twitter storms. These are just a few of the tools we use when we push our decision-makers to make more sustainable commitments.
