Reflections and impact from RFSD 2026

At RFSD 2026, we came together with civil society partners from across the UNECE region to push for more just, democratic, and sustainable futures. Our new reflections and impact report captures key moments from the forum, including interventions on energy justice, wellbeing economies, housing, digitalisation, civic space, and feminist approaches to sustainable development.

The report also reflects on the growing challenges facing multilateralism, including anti gender backlash, shrinking civic space, and declining political ambition around the Sustainable Development Goals. At the same time, it highlights the importance of collective organising, movement building, and bringing ecofeminist perspectives into regional policy spaces.
