One of our ecofeminist mottos is the demand for system change. We juggle the expectations of underpaid work and unpaid care work, and deal with the slow or immediate impact of climate disasters. Simultaneously, we imagine – and fight for – genuine structural change.

But: what do we mean by system change, how do we get it and where do we fight for it?

This piece by WECF Germany board member Gabrielle Koehler argues that one of many venues is at the multilateral level of the UN, and one particular process conducive to systems change might be the negotiations for a binding treaty on business and human rights.
