SUMMARY:Women Engage for a Common Future celebrates its 30th anniversary!
DESCRIPTION:Since its founding in 1994\, WECF has been working on strengthening the ecofeminist movement\, standing shoulder to shoulder with our global partners.\nTo commemorate this occasion\, we will celebrate the many aspects and expressions of ecofeminism by hosting an Ecofeminist Fair\, where feminists\, climate activists\, environmentalists and young changemakers join forces for a just and healthy future for all! \nIt will be a day filled with:\n– Interactive sessions \n– Creative workshops \n– Special guests \n– Exciting exhibitions \n– Live music \n– And an engaging market filled with fun games \n…all linked to WECFs key thematic areas: sustainable development\, climate action and a toxic free future. \nAfter the fair\, we will continue the celebration of our 30th anniversary into the late evening!\nWe will toast to our shared efforts in working towards a gender-just and healthy planet for all: ’Our Common Future’. Together\, we will take a trip down memory lane\, look toward the future\, and give thanks to all of those who have accompanied us on our ecofeminist journey.
