What is COP in My City?
COP in my City is a COP simulation created 10 years ago by CliMates, where participants play the role of different actors to try and find an ambitious agreement!

Played hundreds of times across the globe, COP in my City has empowered young people to create communities in all the continents to make things change in their regional context.

What can I get from it?

This tool can be applied to empower youth to take action in their cities and at national/local level, allowing them to translate COP engagements to the local context, and vice-versa. Youth interested can replicate the tool in their local context and support mobilization in their territories.

Furthermore, it will be an excellent opportunity for you to embark on a climate journey as part of our Spark/ClimAct project, which consists in building awareness and mobilizing youth on climate and development issues in Europe. Many more activities and opportunities to come after that!

How will the session work?

3 hour session. 2h30 session followed by a 30 minutes wrap-up to exchange about key takeaways
