SUMMARY:Can we close the gender gap in the water sector? Let’s unite to make it happen
DESCRIPTION:On March 20th\, the Womanhood & International Relations podcast will host its first virtual festival on Women + Water. \nAs World Water Day 2021 nears\, join us for a full-day of interviews\, connections and conferences on gender & water security; menstrual poverty eradication and WASH projects in India\, Europe\, the Caucasus and Latin America. \nOur objective is to connect women internationally on one day to celebrate all the work being done to WASH goals and all the possibilities we can pursue together to reduce inequalities. \nOur colleagues Anna Samwel (WECF Georgia)\, Verena Demmelbauer (WECF Germany) and Natasha Dokovska (Journalists for Human Rights\, North Macedonia) will be interviewed in a podcast session (4-5:30 PM CET) on gender-just WASH activities in the Balkan and Caucasus region as well as on our WECF-toolkit on gender-just projects in development cooperation. \nYou can register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/women-water-virtual-fest-2021-tickets-144906339763 (the fee is 20 USD\, whereof 20 % will be donated Romper la Regla\, a Mexican grassroots and women-led organisation). \nFacebook link: https://www.facebook.com/events/346459629982794?ref=110 \n  \n
