{"id":92076,"date":"2025-01-30T10:55:11","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T09:55:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wecf.org\/de\/?p=92076"},"modified":"2025-02-03T07:00:26","modified_gmt":"2025-02-03T06:00:26","slug":"vci_lobbyarbeit_presseinformationen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wecf.org\/de\/vci_lobbyarbeit_presseinformationen\/","title":{"rendered":"Protestaktion: Organisationen prangern VCI wegen PFAS-Lobbyarbeit an"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Frankfurt am Main, 29.01.2025<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Mit einer Protestaktion vor der Zentrale des Verbands der Chemischen Industrie (VCI) in Frankfurt haben zehn Umwelt-, Gesundheits- und Verbraucherschutzorganisationen auf die gef\u00e4hrliche Lobbyarbeit der Chemischen Industrie aufmerksam gemacht. \u201cNur um mit gef\u00e4hrlichen PFAS weiterhin Geld zu verdienen, nutzt die Chemieindustrie bei ihrer Einflussnahme auf Politiker*innen falsche Behauptungen. Auf diese Weise beeinflusst sie politische Entscheidungen zugunsten der Profitinteressen weniger Firmen. Das verhindert systematisch den Schutz aller Menschen und unserer Umwelt \u201c kritisieren die Organisationen.<\/h4>\n<p>Laut einer internationalen Recherche des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wecf.org\/de\/pfas-lobby\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forever Lobbying Projects<\/a> blockiert die Chemieindustrie notwendige Regulierungen von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wecf.org\/de\/vorsicht-pfas\/\">PFAS<\/a>, um eigene wirtschaftliche Vorteile zu sichern, obwohl Alternativen vielfach verf\u00fcgbar sind. Besonders im Fokus stehen PFAS-Chemikalien, auch bekannt als \u201eEwigkeitschemikalien&#8221;. Diese Stoffe sind extrem langlebig, nicht nat\u00fcrlich abbaubar und reichern sich in der Umwelt und im menschlichen K\u00f6rper an. PFAS k\u00f6nnen unseren Hormonhaushalt st\u00f6ren und schwerwiegende Gesundheitsprobleme wie Lebersch\u00e4den, Schilddr\u00fcsenerkrankungen und Krebs verursachen.<\/p>\n<p>Bei einer Protestaktion vor der VCI Zentrale in Frankfurt am Main forderten die Organisationen ein differenziertes, aber umfassendes Verbot von PFAS, strikte Kontrollen der Chemieindustrie und transparente politische Prozesse. Das B\u00fcndnis von Umwelt-, Gesundheits- und Verbraucherschutzorganisationen setzt damit ein klares Zeichen gegen die Priorisierung einzelner Industrieinteressen vor dem
